Newbie

Hi there, I have never joined any forum before tonight. I have 7 year old Sulcata and would like to know where to find plans for outdoor house. My wife and I are somewhat handy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks All, looking forward to reading and responding to this forum.

Hello and welcome! This is a pretty great forum to have as your first. There is a whole section for enclosure info. Not sure if computers and phone layouts are different but in my phone you just click "Forum" at the top and you'll see all the sections. If I'm looking for something more specific I do a google search like "tortoise forum outdoor Sulcata enclosure". I have the best luck doing that.
You'll find tons of good info here and if you need help just ask

Hi, and welcome! I started out with dog house-like outdoor shelters, but propping open the lid and leaning in with the rake and shovel soon got very old, to say nothing about the pain in my a-er, uh, back. So I build each outdoor species a heated, insulated shed that I can walk into with my rake and shovel. If you want a night box, do a search for Tom's night box. He gave detailed instructions on how to build it.
