Hi Everyone,
I am Rita from Ontario Canada. I haven't bought my first tortoise yet, but I have ALWAYS wanted one. There are just too many options and it is hard to know which one will be the best option, I will have to house my tortoise indoors for most of its life): I have a decent amount of space to build a wicked table, but if anyone has any suggestions, I would love your input

I've been thinking a Russian or Hermann's

Russians are awesome! They do need an enclosure that is 8'×4' when an adult. Are you looking for an adult or baby?

Hi, and welcome!

On thing to remember, even though you get a small species, tortoises need a lot of room to walk around. Their digestive system depends upon exercise to keep it moving.
