First one to hatch from a new pair, not to shabby looking! First time breeders both sire and dam, more fertile eggs behind this one. Just hatched this morning, very promising results so far!

I assume from the marking on the egg that this is the first #1690 baby. She (#1690) is just two weeks shy of ten years old, making her one of the youngest females in the studbook to produce viable offspring. She represents a truly great bloodline as well. Congrats on this achievement.

Also, since I produced #1690, this makes me a proud human "grandpa".

Thanks Bill, yes that was the first #1690 to hatch, the other egg hatched and will come out of the incubator tomorrow. There are (4) other fertile eggs from another clutch that should be to term in 60 days~. She produced 7 clutches of over 60 eggs, but she crushed most of the early clutches until she figured out how to lay the eggs properly. Anyhow the sire is younger then her, I used 1840 last year not 384. Overall cant complain when the first one looks like that, Ill give the pair another go this year see what happens. The Zovickian legend lives on, #2 is not to shabby either could have a winner if the other 4 keep up!
