So if some of you don't know I live in sc and well it's pretty hard to adopt a tort down here, Is there any place to were I could pay for the shipping or they would ship it?

And if your wondering about my land, for some of you that don't no I have a big thing of land, if you want a pick ill take one.

You are close to FL, where lots of people keep tortoises.

It kind of depends on what species of tortoise you are looking for.

Most breeders ship, but not all.

If you are looking to buy a lot of breeders will ship. If your looking to adopt then you will have too find one within driving range. Most rescues dont ship.

Btw, tell us what species your looking for. There are always sulcata available to adopt in Florida. Also Red Foots are big in Florida so I'm sure there's some needing a home.

Are you willing to drive a distance like say Florida?
Check your craigslist there are usually some available on there that needs a better home. Also check Floridas CL if your willing to drive there for pick up.

I live in Lexington, SC and found and bought two redfoots from a relatively local breeder with no problems. I've had them over a year now, and they are happy and healthy and growing quickly. If you would like the info for the breeder, just ask.
