Ok, so I have always gotten organic foods for my tortoise, ( I saw always as in about one month) but I decided after reading a bit to get something non organic (non organic collards). So should I feed my Russians tortoise this or keep feeding organic. I live in a very rural area, southern ms and now it’s not as polluted. So I just want to know your opinions?.?.?.

I think so long as you get quality produce, it shouldn't have to be organic.

I buy the best ingredients I can find for my redfoot, but they're not always organic ....

I think it’s best to feed your tortoise the biggest variety you can. I can buy organic where I live very easily but would feed non organic if that’s what was available to me. I’d much rather feed twelve non organic foods for my tortoise than four organic ones. :)

The only solid argument I’ve heard for feeding something organic was for mushrooms; I can point you to the member who posted about it if you really want to know but otherwise I think it’s perfectly fine.
