The growth rate can be very individual and it also depends on the hatching weight, a 3g hatchling would be smaller than a 20g hatchling.

My Hermanns were 20-25g at 6 months of age. They were gaining up to 6g per month in spring and almost nothing in autumn.

Good information. I just got the scale in last week so I will start weighing him more frequently. Thank you!

Don't start weighing too frequently!

A tort's weight varies from day to day and throughout the day just like yours does. A drink, a meal or a poop can make a massive difference to the weight of a small tort!

Weigh your tort fortnightly at most, monthly will do, and try to do at the same time if day each time for consistency. I like to weigh straight after the morning soak.

i've got two 7-month old Hermans , and they weigh 38 / 34 grams and measures aprox. 5,5 cm. They've gained just about 5 g in the last month. :)

I've got 3 year old hermann's, all were at 19 grams when i got them, now one is ~150 grams, one is ~100 grams, and one is ~50 grams.

The growth does vary by quite a bit. What you should be worried about is consistent growth, and as the hatchling grows, he will gain weight faster.
If he is eating, pooping, and gaining weight, even a little at a time, then all is well.
