The plan is to house the males separate. However I do not have that much space and will probably have to re -home some of them so that there are no issues. But I was hoping for a longer period in which I could leave them all together before I had to start making plans. Oh well that is life. Just got to come up with a viable plan that will work. Either that Or I will need to build another enclosure for him. Maybe I can build a heated house in the outside enclosure for him. Then he can go outside from now on. Hmmm, better put the thinking cap on.
These are the dilemmas facing anyone with multiple tortoises... :)

Right - not mature yet, but it is nice to know it is likely a male. If you ever see him do it again and can get better pictures that would be good. Check out my thread in the radiated tortoise section about female genitalia. Titled "Dude looks like a lady".
Okay I read your Dude looks like a lady. Very interesting. So there is still a chance that he could be a she. Next time I will try and see if I cannot get better pictures.

His “stuff” doesn’t look anything like Toretto’s stuff[emoji848]... I wish I was closer so I could help you out with your rehoming :)) we could just share joint custody[emoji6]

@Sterant, @Tom @Kingsley,@HermanniChris. @Markw84,
I need your help and advice again. Kang is not doing so well. He has been more lethargic ever since I saw him flash. He has not been eating properly. I thought that maybe because we are going into winter it may have been that and he is just slowing down. But then the other three are fine. So I move him to the top tier at night as the temp does not drop so much on the second level as it does at the bottom at night. The 2nd level is 28 degrees and the bottom now goes down to 24c at night. During the day it is 30c. When I move him, he does not move from that spot. Today I checked by his tail and a tiny bit of his penis was sticking out and looked slightly dry. So i brushed some coconut oil on the area, hoping to lubricate it. I have been soaking him extra long and more often. This evening while soaking him I poured water over the area and it looked better. But he is not fully back inside. He is also not eating his food. I pulverised some cactus hoping to get some in his system and thereby clear any blockages he has if he has any. I took another pic where you can see it clearer. Is there anything else I should or can do. To try and get him feeling better. His food btw has not changed and he is fed the same variety that I have feed the others during summer. Although it is store bought, (I am waiting for the weeds to start sprouting with the rains, as it is too dry here in summer for them). The last picture is what it looks like now, which is quite a while after his bath. 20190407_175655.jpeg20190407_175723.jpeg20190407_183234.jpeg20190407_190027.jpeg

When is the last time you saw him poop? Was it normal? Do you have a spray nozzle on your faucet? Toretto was taking literally hours to put his away at times and I found that if you hold the tail out and spray or continuously pour very warm water over it, it helped him get it in. Some days he might have some extra poop that he hadn’t expelled and the spray would encourage him to finish and then he’s put it away....

That is what I did last night. Poured warm water over the area. It would retract but then come back out slightly again and or come out more like in the above pics. I will be soaking him separate from the others to see if he is pooping, as so far I have seen poop in the soaking water but cannot confirm if any is his. Sigh this morning he was worse. He did not want to open his eyes at all. This is so frustrating as I just don't know what else to do and or even what is wrong. Nothing has changed from what we feed and or have been doing with all of them. The only difference is the weather and his maturation level. The thing is that although this started after we saw his flashing I am not even sure if that is the cause. I just hope that everything I am doing will be enough.

Hi Everybody,

It is with great sadness, that I write this. Kang did not make it. I went back home at lunch time and he was completely still and would not move. I will not be on here a for a few days and as I need to grieve for him. I have no idea why he has died. I am sorry I just cannot do this for a while. I will see you when I feel that I can be okay and think rationally again. But his death has hit me extremely hard. Until later.
