I’ve been searching for old posts, and I know this has been covered. I have a 2 1/2 month old Cherryhead, and I’m debating on getting 2-3 more and having a group. I’m loving these guys so much I am at the point where I am wanting to see the interaction between them as a group vs being kept single. I kind of feel like Winston is missing out on having interaction. I may be wrong.. I know the 1 male to a group and I’m not against learning and breeding. What is the best way to go about this? Search for a couple new babies, or keep Winston single.
I have a 2x4 enclosure, and plan to build an 8x8 maybe bigger, and outdoor pen when they get bigger for the warm months.
I figure if your making that size enclosure, mine as well have a few.. why just have one. I’ve been talking to others, and would like to hear some experiences on TFO. I think I have the Tort Sickness..

Would like to hear some experience stories, thanks again!

I read a thread on mixing Cherryheads with Redfoots, and I am steering away from this idea

He’s not missing out. They do better solo.

The more I read, the more I agree and makes me nervous. Having the same epiphany as my Leopard geckos. They are seperated. If anything happened, I would regret it severely and it’s not worth it.
I will just go back to my original plan and when Winston grows out of this 2x4 and I make a larger one, I will use the current enclosure for a Western Hermanns.
