Russian Tortoise White Mouth

Good Morning,

When I let Violet out of her enclosure this morning I found she had a white mouth. I wiped some of it away and some is still there.

Does anyone know what it could be and if I should be concerned? I did search the internet and found a ton of information, but kind of like looking on WebMD, she could have anything.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Is he eating cuttlebone?

She has one in her enclosure but has not shown any interest in it.

It's probably urates. They poop out urates occasionally and your tortoise probably saw it and ate it. No big deal. It's ok.

I love the "roof" of succulents on your torts enclosure. really nice.

I think she got interested in her cuttlebone or urates. Either way nothing to worry about
