I'm going to post some pictures from my phone in a couple minutes because I'm using my laptop to type (too slow to text). Please review her growth pattern and based on that information, how long before she will be big enough to live outside full-time? Of course she'd had a heated night box and get locked up at night. Thanks in advance.

I think she still has a few years to go before she can be outside permanently.

That’s the plan, but we need to cut down a few trees and haul dirt, HOW do I keep ants out???.. I can’t get rid of them in her outdoor enclosure here! She is out in sun now in kiddie pool with hay on the bottom instead of in her big enclosure! It’s 75 outside here with 71% humidity, she is basking in warm water dish [emoji23]

I move them outside full time in spring once they reach 8-10".

If you are having trouble finding enough food, its time to start adding bulk like grass, grass hay, opuntia pads, mulberry and grape leaves etc...

Opitunia pads are finally growing!

Yay!!! I’m getting a ton of new growth on mine with all the rain and the warm temps. I cut a bunch of pads and started new plants last month and some of those are showing new growth too. The ones I cut off of have new pads that went from spurs to full pads in a week... it’s crazy! I’m sure thankful though cause my big one eats them daily.
