Omg!!! How EXCITING!!! Congratulations!!! So you did you get a glimpse at how many eggs there were??
No glimpse, it was too dark to see properly. But they only lay one egg at a time. She will more than likely lay another one in about 23 days. [emoji3] Hopefully I will get to see her laying that one as well.

And the gangs enclosure got some upgrades. When I say upgrades, here is what happened. My eldest son is in his second year of studying mecatronics at university and they were on a month break. Soooo I decided to put him to work. I wanted my CHE, light, temp sensors, humdity sensors all put together so that I don't have three to four different things being attached to different extension leads etc. In other words I wanted the system to be consolidated. So Liam had to come up with a way to incorporate it all into one system connected to one power source only. So he wrote a program. We bought all the components that we would need. He took fans from old computer towers and a hardware box ( I think that is the correct terminology) and we put it together.

I bought two 3m Pvc panels which cut into 3 x 1.2m panels & 4 x 0.6m panels . Anyway created a casing to hide all the wiring on the top of the enclosure. 20190706_161039.jpeg20190706_161028.jpeg20190706_161112.jpeg20190706_161147.jpeg

Then the 3rd 1.2m panel we attached the other 2 x 0.6m panels to make the board that all the (don't ask me why we just didn't make the 2 x 0.6m panels as just 1 x 1.2m panels. The nice thing about the Pvc was that it was easy to cut etc. We cut out the holes for the fans. Two on either side where the CHE fitting was going and one on the cool side of the enclosure. Mow he designed the system so that when the temperature went over the required temp parameters the fan would go on. So on the cool side the temp parameters we set it to was 22 - 25 c and on the warm side it is set to 25 -30c. So the fan will go on if it is too high. On the warm side both fans go on and the CHE gets turned off.20190706_202720.jpeg20190706_202725.jpeg

After that we then put all the relevant relays or wiring in connecting the various boards or fans etc to each other. And we programmed the screen panel and put it all in. 20190707_165023.jpeg20190707_165026.jpeg20190706_161225.jpeg

We put it all onto the enclosure making sure that everything was where it was supposed to be. We switch it on aaanndd the light is not on nor is the CHE . Why is it not working? ..... Liam checks it all out and figures out that he put the wires for the CHE and the light in the wrong order. So he re does them. And yayy they come on but then it stops working again. Sigh. What could be wrong now? He spends another hour looking at everything. It turns out that the one board he bought (which he thought had a regulator on it) did not have one and as a consequence too much power went through and he blew the board and a few other things. So back to the electronic shop we go. And we have to buy quite a few of the components again. He spent a sleepness night over this whole thing. But I (although my pocket did not like it) feel it was a good learning experience for him. Anyway the end result is that we now have the system running great and there is no danger with seven hundred cords lying around connected to different power cords. 20190708_195128.jpeg20190708_195138.jpeg20190708_195205.jpeg20190708_195637.jpeg20190708_195646.jpeg20190708_195649.jpeg

I should have said HE put it together. [emoji87]

Looking at the wiring I can't understand why he didn't get it right the first time. :p:p:p I got a headache thinking about it and while not certified myself- my dad and a long time friend were so I have added sub-boxes and mini panel, BUT that looks terrifying

LOL, None of it makes any sense to me. And to give him his due, he is only in his second year of studying mechatronics. I am just happy that it all is now working and without all the extension leads and power cables that where attached before.
