Hybrid Muscovy ducks

I've been seeing a few of these around.
Hybrids of Florida Muscovy ducks and the recently arrived Egyptian geese.
They are both actually from the "shell duck" family. Not geese at all.
It looks like yet another type of mutant crossbreed animal is amongst us here in the tropics....
The photo shows Muscovy looking and hybrids together. Probably from the same clutch

They’re pretty- hopefully they don’t replace or harm any of the native critters.

I know some falcons and goshawks that would happily take care of them for you...

I never seen those down there it was just Muscovys and Mallards when I lived there.

Are you sure those aren't just young muscovys? They usually take a while to fully develope their muscovy features like the red around their bill.

Neither species are native so guess it doesn't matter if they breed with each other anyways...
