Rover haven't pooper for 4 days straight. I dial it in warm water of about 30c everyday for at least an hour. Today I even soak it for 2 hours, but no poop came out. I'm worried. Is there something I can give it to eat to improve this situation? Or anything else? Thanks in advance.

please post pictures and provide info about your enclosure such as temp, humidity, substrate, and any other facts that may be helpful. also, what are you feeding the tortoise?

Is it somehow related to the time it is soaked. I usually dont come back home until its 5 in the afternoon, and it's usually asleep as this time.

Please i desperately need help. What should I do?
There are so many things that might Play a part in it.

Maybe ur basking temperature is too low so he digests slower or not at all.

He could have eaten the poop.

He maybe tries holding it in longer cause hes not sure if he will find enough food.

He could be impacted maybe he ate a little stone?

Car rides can help they seem to empty themselves out while u drive.
Long warm soaks can also help

My sulli poops everyday

If ur really worried the best bet is to bring him to a experienced vet.

But I think as long as he acts normal and isn't lethargic I would wait a little longer

Now I'm definitely no expert so I hope someone can shine in with more experience [emoji846]

Ok... so Rover finally pooped in the soak today, and man... that's a lot of manure he released out. I forgot to take a picture but I can tell you that the manure almost filled the water surface in the container that is 8 times of Rover's size, talking about absurdity. So he's been holding in the poop for the past 6 days, and fortunately he wasnt having impaction. Perhaps I wasnt giving it enough food... or there could be other causes?

So today Rover pooped, but the faeces look like this. Is this a bad thing? What food can I feed it to harden the faeces?20190916_191128.jpeg
