Bad news about the eggs ..

Today I made a decision. I cut open the eggs.. day 92.. 4 full term dead babies.. yolks almost absorbed I can see they tried to break through. What happened? I think they didn't have enough humidity somehow and got stuck in the albumen.. there is one alive one who was trying to get out didn't have the sac over him and his yolk is smallish. He's breathing I didn't know what to do seeing all of them had died. I couldn't see that baby moving inside so I had assumed he had passed to. Please pray that he makes it. He's moving around and breathing. Bubba is great. I'm distraught at the thought I could've saved them if I would've helped.. I cannot believe this happened.. there is hope for this new baby though.

I am sorry about the other babies. At least you tried! You now have (hubba) bubba (bubble gum LOL). All you can do is your best and try. So for that you did great! Good luck with them.

Thank you so much for saying that! Very happy I was blessed with bubba and the other ( not sure what his name will be) something to go with bubba. Here is starting to move around more when I check on him. Fingers are crossed. Thank you again @Ink

i am sorry. sometimes they just aren't meant to be. Maybe too weak, Who knows?.

Thank you. Yes was thinking about that. They look okay in the outside but who knows on the inside. Maybe you're right and they could've been to weak. Thank you. That eased my mind a little.

But we know so little about reptiles- less than we know about dogs and cats, and even those don't always work out even when we've done everything possible. You did everything anybody possibly could. :<3:

Thank you Moozillion! Yes we certainly don't know much about reptiles yet. There's so many things that could've gone wrong and we won't ever know. I'm so happy I got my little bubba and the other baby who is pulling through he's starting to move alot more and his eyes are bright and open and he's lifting his head up now.

Well guys I went to check on the other baby.... He has passed as well.. I think they just weren't strong enough and that's why they didn't hatch. I tried.. at least I got bubba.

Thank you! Yes so very happy I have my little bubba.. it was just meant to be this way I suppose. It's nature and things like this happen more than I thought.. this just sucks.. I will be thanking God for bubba.

Thank you! It sucks but I know I couldn't have changed the outcome. I tried. Bubba is doing very well. Eating and drinking good to. Keeping my eyes on him now.. [emoji55] he even looks like he has grown since he hatched last week. That might sound crazy lol
