Hello all, I've been doing some extensive work with building my outdoor Russian Tortoise enclosure for next year. This will be my first time keeping a breeding colony and I can't wait to start this endeavor. It's about 35ftx30ft! I've put many hours into building the perfect layout that will work great with a 4:1 ratio. With that being said, I'm trying to find a few proven females to get going.
I currently have three females in my 14ft indoor enclosure. One of which is only about ~4" and I plan for her to be my "indoor" pet, although she's outside almost daily for some sun and exercise. The other two are just over 6" so they will be heading outside. I'm in need of two more females, preferably around 7 inches. I can send all needed info & photos letting you know they'll be going to a good home. I'm fortunate enough to work from home so someone is always around.
I've checked around everywhere online and it looks like most adults are wild caught and only about 5 inches. I'm at a loss for where to go so hey, figured this is worth a shot! I'm located in Ohio and am happy to pay for shipping and your time. Please let me know what you have available and an approximate cost. Thank you for your time!
