I put something heavy, like a brick, on the house when they do that. They are little bulldozers. Its just what they do.I rechecked it with the digital thermoeter. It's good. I have something else to run past you. The last few weeks she's been bulldozing into her house, pushing it around. It's cute to see her do it, but we don't know why. Also the Orchid bark I ordered is out of stalk ugh! So we'll keep this orchid bark in there, and add some other substrate. Can you recommend something we can put in a corner of her house, that she may be able to dig in, and go under a bit? Organic top soil? Not sure on that, I'm really paranoid what I add to her home. I am wondering if she's bored and playing, or her personality is developing. Perhaps that's why she pushes her house around. Good exercise, but she'll do it, and do it, and sometimes if goes nowhere. She's a trip, I am learning through you and this forum, reading others stories. And by analyzing her behaviors as well. Also is a fir bark coco substrate from a pet store safe? I've always been reluctant to use that, if so could you suggest a brand? Thank you.
No soil. Ccoc coir, cypress mulch, or orchid bark. The pet store stuff is safe and good, but its expensive and you need a lot.
