So I’m browsing the internet and whenever I see a nice looking website with Greek tortoises, I check here on the tortoise forum to be told that place sells bad tortoises. Are there any good places that can be recommended and sells Greek tortoises?

I am expecting a Greek from Chris Leone at Garden State Tortoises in Jersey. I haven’t received it yet (a little over a week to wait still), but when I was looking for one I found both his website/social media and reviews on here to be satisfactory.
My exchanges with him throughout the process have been great. He is very responsive and helpful.

That’s the link to his vendor review thread.

Wanted to add the process was not immediate. You don’t place an order and get your tortoise in the mail a week later.
You have to email him through his website, he tells you what’s available and when it might be shipping. He keeps it that way deliberately so nobody impulse buys an animal. That factored in my choosing him.
I pre-purchased my tortoise in May.

I've purchased Greek hatchlings from Chris Leone (Garden State Tortoise), Randy Betz (Tortstork), and Andy Hermes (Arizona Tortoise Compound). All 3 are very reputable breeders who are passionate about what they do. If you want to see how my hatchlings from them have grown, check out my website, www.sweetgreektorts.com

I'm getting into breeding, specializing in the Greeks, and building my program right now.

Have you purchased from a breeder named Aaron Daniels before? I believe he has several sub-species of Greeks as well.

I have not purchased from him, but I do know him. He's a good guy and has lots of great tortoises. I do plan to buy some hatchlings from him in the future so I can obtain multiple bloodlines for my own breeding groups.
