So far so good on these guys. Sure are a challenging species. Lots of growth and eating greens now. Haven’t tried mushrooms. Made the myth go away about the only eat mushrooms. Sometimes keeping what works simple is the best method.

such an odd species. Interesting to work with.

Hey Kelly, I've only raised one impressed tortoise but learned a lot from it. When it was about the size of yours, pothos was what it craved more than any other food offerings. Basically as it grew and I offered more different food items it's diet mimmiced that of the other 2 manouria types. Colocasia, alocasia, even the new world plant xanthosoma leaves and stems became a larger part of it's daily diet. Cooked sweet potato and frozen-thawed chopped up mixed vegetables were taken readily when young and into adulthood.
