Okay I'm finally getting around to posting pictures of my tortoise Indy enclosure. Indy was a rescue my wife got as a Christmas gift from Indianapolis. He is estimated to be about 10 years old so wanted to provide him with enough space to rest the last of his life, which I know will be a long time. So with the help of my wife and family we built a 16 ft long 4 ft wide enclosure, the back wall is 4 foot high the front wall is about 2 1/2ft tall. He has two lights hanging from the ceiling a basking area, a 2-foot wide 3 foot long swimming area about half inch in the front and 3inch in the back deep, he has a heated box and two hides also has some random rocks to help keep his nails down. Temps are set to 72 at night and 80 during the day, humidity stays between 70-80%. He also has a security camera inside also, so I can check on him at work. It was a large expense so adding plants has taken a little bit we finally have some saved up and we'll be installing soon! WOW :<3: Took me a second to find the Tort. Wow you start groing some pothos you gonna have a jungle. You must have some seroius arm strength in that house to open an entry up like that. I would be installing a piston or two to help lift. Love it when someone make sthe commitment and does it!

Looks great. Now add some fake plants and greenery! Tort will love it. Also you can use wallpaper with trees on it to make it more realistic. My tort loves that.

Love that enclosure. I also have a security cam in her enclosure.

I've always admired enclosures large enough to actually climb inside to do routine maintenance. However, that door scares me to death. If my wife ever spotted me inside, she would lock that deadbolt in a flash...
