I found this red eyed beauty in my yard this morning.
I think that someone that knows I keep tortoises must've tossed him in?
I have no other explanation for his arrival.
It looks to be a male Carolina boxie

May well be an abandoned pet...

May be intergrade Eastern + Florida (those long black stripes)...you know, due to an abandoned pet...

It seems a bit bumpy on top? So more weight to an abandoned (potentially intergrade) pet...

Mail it to me, I'll give you a more careful opinion... ;)

A fellow TFO member has snapped him up already.
I'm not sure how he crossed paths with me, but I know for certain he's going to be in great hands from today forward.
He ate 5 Superworms and some bell pepper before he left to go to West Palm Beach.
