I have a bunch of Live Forever sedum and wondered if it is okay for my African sulcata to eat?

I’ve only had him for 15 months and I’m trying to ensure he has the best diet. As you can see he has some pyramiding and I’m try to correct it as much as possible.

Do you know what specific species the plant is? Common names are super inaccurate and I’m getting a mix of things called sedum some of which are safe some are not

Jamie, a good resource is:
Thetortoisetable
For Tortoise safe & unsafe plants for Tort's.
Unfortunately , Sedum purpureum is not a listed plant. So my advice would to avoid feeding, or letting your tort eat it.

I have been feeding what you have to all of my tortoises for years. Never noticed any ill effects. Donald my 2 year old sulcata has recently completely cleared out many nursery pots I had growing. He even ate the roots.

Whew! Good to hear that! My Poppy is a sneaky…persistent fella….he already got into some before I dug it all up and replanted it far from his new habitat.
