I keep some cuttlebone on hand. When my tortoises were younger, I'd leave cuttlebone lying around in their enclosures. They went through seasons of chomping on it and ignoring it. I liked this method because I assumed they knew what they needed & when.
Now that Levi is bigger, I scrape the cuttlebone over his Mazuri. He isn't fed Mazuri often so I don't really worry about over supplementing.
The only other supplement I used was Miner-All. I had some leopard hatchlings that were eating small rocks and was advised to sprinkle Miner-All on their food to curb that. It worked. Eventually I phased out that supplement.
If I remember correctly @Cowboy_Ken sprinkles lime or calcium on his pasture. This way he's enriching the food source itself. I always wanted to try this but never did.
I see you are a new member in LA so I'm guessing you have a baby sulcata. If so, the most important "supplement" you can give your baby is hydration! Soak it daily and provide a warm humid enclosure. You want damp, earthy substrate for him to nestle into and a cover over the top so the lights don't desiccate his shell.
Hope this helps
Im a huge fan of Mazuri Tortoise LS diet. I feed both of my subadult sulcatas that everyday and on warm days they graze. Feeding the Mazuri everyday provides my torts withall the vitamins and minerals that they need plus several probiotic strains are included.I have tried cuttlebone but they just ignore it
I sprinkle some opuntia cactus flour along with a dried mix of herbs and flowers and wakame seaweed over my tortoises' greens once a week or so, and also throw in some eggshells from time to time.
I feed small amounts of Mazuri or another kibble a couple of times a week, softened as a dressing.
