Someone in another thread said that there sulcata had some pyramiding going on. Well this is my first tortoise and i was wondering if rose here needs some TLC . I worry I just want her to have the best life she can have. Here's some pics.

I've only had her for a few weeks and thanks to this forum and everyone being so helpful. Rose is doing great and I believe she's as happy as a tortoise could be but if I need to start paying special attention to her shell then I most certainly will.

There is some slight pyramiding but as long as you feed her a good diet she'll grow into it and you'll be good! It will take some time but if you do the right things good things will happen. She's not in terrible shape though, you'll be just fine! :)

Thank alot. I've not ever been a reptile person but I gotta say I never thought I could love a tortoise so much! I find myself at work worrying whether she's doing okay or not. My tort has a great personality. She follows my daughter around when we let her Rome around the house. I think cause my daughter is so super gentle with her that he likes her.

That eating picture is darn cute!
The pyramiding isn't too bad... keep the humidity up and new growth should look smooth!
