I adopted a young sulcata and was told that it was two years old, but after doing some research, I'm not very sure about that.

Hi Angelgrl0833 @ yahoo . com:

Won't you take a few moments to start a new thread in the "introductions" section and tell us a bit about yourself?

If that tortoise was started on rabbit pellets, with no water bowl and soaked "once a week", then it very well COULD be two years old. They are normally bigger than that at two, but I have seen them even smaller.

That is very small for a two year old. But its impossible to guess how old it is. He looks healthy though so as long as you can give him great care now then he will start growing very quickly.
