I have heard that you can give your turtle too much calcium, is this true? My EBT's are a couple months old and are about 2 inches long. I put meal worms in gut loading formula before feeding them to my turtles. They get about 4 a day. Too much? Not enough? Thanks!

I don't really pay attention to that sort of thing, but if I'm remembering correctly, you can't overdo the calcium, but you CAN overdo the vitamin d3.

Actually you can over dose both hypercalcimia is too high a blood calcium level. Though the most common cause is insufficient d3 which is usually tied to lack of UVB exposure. Though it can also happen with over supplementation
