Lighting

[/color][/font]I have had Boris my RT for a month now and am still wondering if the lighting I have for him is good. I currently have him in a 36x18x12h glass terrarirum with a 24" zilla slimline fluorescent bulb for his uvb lighting, 2-50 watt exo terra basking bulbs. His basking side is 90 and his cool side stays around 70. I keep foil on the top of the cage to help keep the heat in. At night I usually use a 50 watt exo terra blue night light to keep the temps around 70 for him.

I want to make sure that what I am using is good for him and see if there is anything I should change to make it better for him or be more energy efficient. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the desert long tube or the tropical long tube? The desert long tube along with the heat basking light for day sounds great....

I am using the desert long tube.

Sounds good EXCEPT the temperature needs to drop at night. 58-65 is what the temp needs to be at night, 70 is too high, so remove the blue night light.

You should invest in zoomed table.also you don't need the foil bad air circulation.otherwise everything is fine do you have pics of the settup

This is the setup. I have taken the foil off as advised.
