I've never seen markings like that before, and I have BT's for over thirty years. She's absolutely beautiful and very different. I really can't wait to see her all grown up.

Thank you both! Terry, I hear that alot....some have said he/she looks almost like a Hermanns tortoise in the shell. Here are pics of his/her parents.

Do you guys think he/she is a she? That's how I'm leaning, but he/she is only a year and a half old. Very big, but still young.

What a beautiful turtle! The parents are pretty too! I agree with terryo! The markings r amazing! I c u r from Ohio too! Great weather we r having huh?.....yuck!

He looks like a cross breed with a Herman's but those feet and head are definatly boxie.he can close up fully right?


Lighter version of mom. You have a 1 of a kind there might be able to offer more I personally love the color and markings uniqueness allways catches my eye and wallet.

I can't. Maybe that's why he's monster size for a 1.5 year old boxie!...lol

I've heard his shell looks like a Hermans before. Yes, he closes up....lol.

Hermans and Three toeds cannot produce offspring for they are differant specise entirely not simply differant sub species. for example that would be like a small ape and a lemuer attempting to reproduce.
