I spent yesterday building this patio...I am very sore today (btw) LOL

So, this morning I took Méraddyn out to inspect the quality of my workmanship...I am thinking that he likes it! LOL

I will be putting sand and pea gravel down in the spaces after the dirt settles (come on rain!)

I built it for my futon swing, and it will have other goodies on it too :) FUN TIMES!

I think it would be pretty with dichondra or violets growing between the tiles. (Your 'foreman' has good taste)

Very nice ...... great pattern and follow thru A+:)
JD~

PS: For future projects and tip for others....if using concrete and or brick with no grout joints...When laying up against a wall and or house, before laying your brick or mud' ( slang for concrete) make sure your "foundation" has a grade to it ...that falls away from the wall/house. 2% or a 1/4" per foot "slant" away from structures. This will allow for water drainage and run-off .

Very nice work. Now don't forget the follow up pics. Also the lounging in the futon swing:)
