I was just wondering cause Bubbaloos skin on his head looks like a copper brown instead of the usual dark brown. Also how is something like this treated ?

Since their skin is usually very dark grey to black, I would first look to something external that might have colored the skin...something in the habitat. Does it seem to be at all raw or weepy? Can you post a close-up picture so we can see what you're talking about?

Yea i will get a pic up for sure. It does in fact seem kinda raw or more less dry. I soak him 5 times a week and his humidity is always between 60-75 %. When he is in his bowl he can get out when hes had enough so i dont over soak him (at least i think). Im kinda leading towards shedding too because he aint full grown.

Pics up !

Something i wana add too. I have been giving him cuttlebones lately and he has gone through them rather quick ! Now i know that they instinctively know how much to intake but if they are hungry (since these look like hard boiled eggs) could he possibly over due it with the cuttle bone when he is hungry ?

I'm sorry, but I don't see what you're talking about. Bubbaloo's head looks just like the heads on MY Manouria tortoises.

I'm not an expert on cuttlebone eating, but my gut tells me that, no, they can't overdose on it. Its the skeleton of a fish, so your tortoise is just eating a soft bone. I think that along with a nice, varied diet, a lot of cuttlebone wouldn't be harmful. Now if he's ONLY eating cuttlebone, I think that might be a problem.

Really did you notice the copper looking spot on top of his head between his eyes (buldge of the eyes from top view in pic 2)? If thats normal than i dont have to worry. Ok im just gona take the cuttle bone out when im at work cause i think he gets hungry and is eating too much of it. Maybe he is shedding or im just paranoid. I feed him once in the morning and than when i get home so he eats plenty.
