What kind of plant is Turbo emerging from?

* Those are called Schefflera arboricola, they are extremely hardy, always green, and provide excellent shade!

Can they eat eat it?

* Not a good option for a food source!

Do they try?

* They have never shown any interest or made any effort at all!

* Over the years of working with young aldabra tortoises we have found that they almost always prefer bushes to hide in for shade instead of any other type of shade options!

Thats a very pretty plant. They look a bit like large umbrella plants, but much less delicate-looking.

* They are very hardy and do very well in sandy soils. One of the best features is that no fertilizers are needed, just irrigation!
