I have a Russian tortoise named IvantheGreat (all one word). He was found on our dirt road by my neighbor. I have built an enclosure for inside our tv room right under a bright sunny window. It is about 4 ft long by 2.5 ft wide and high enough he can't climb out. He loves yellow bell peppers, Kale and spring mix. His shell is rough. Do I need to wash it with a soft toothbrush? do I need to oil it? With what?
