I think I may just suck at this.

They where shipped together but lived in separate enclosures, they showed no signs of infection or parasites but I mean I guess anything is possible. They seemed fine and then they all just started to shutdown. Nothing helped, and believe me I really tried everything.

I think I may just suck at this.

I just lost my last Sulcata baby Dozer. Almost lasted a week longer than the others. Pretty sad but I was definitely expecting this one.

    Please help (closed eyes)

I’m not sure on if it’s safe for that species but I just planted some clover sprouts and wheat grass. Now I have seeds from grow organic but I won’t be planting for a while

I think I may just suck at this.

The reptile fogger is set to turn on if the rh drops below 80rh and turn off at 95rh. It rarely turns on and the reason I have it is because I live in high desert, the rh in my home is very very low, and outside my home it’s even lower, even in a closed chamber it is difficult to keep humidity...

I think I may just suck at this.

Back years ago I bought my babies and I had them in an open type tortoise table, I also bought the sulcata from a local backyard breeder who told me they are Desert tortoises and that they don’t even need a water source. The leopard I got years ago was also not started well and I didn’t have the...

I think I may just suck at this.

Out of the 4 beautiful babies I bought for my birthday in September only 1 is still alive and I don’t expect him to live past another week. I don’t have words right now to express my sadness. It’s hitting me harder than I thought it would. I saw and knew the signs but... I was hoping that at...

I think I may just suck at this.

I just lost one of the sulcatas, his name was chip. I checked the temperatures in all enclosures and checked the humidity because I cannot believe that I’m losing them all at once. My kids are going to be devastated and I don’t even know what to say because I am just so upset. My 5 year old son...

I meant I checked reviews on here*... it was a reptile store not a breeder.

I think I may just suck at this.

I thought it was a reliable source, I even checked reviews on her. Unfortunately I was wrong. I should have bought directly from a breeder.

Thank you Tom, I wish I checked the source more than I did. I did check reviews on here and I thought they started them right but I should have known to actually contact them.

I think I may just suck at this.

Unfortunately at this point I feel bad trying to force them to stay alive. They literally move 2-3 inches a Day. It was easier to save Frank from MBD when he was flat as a board and squishy.. I feel horrible watching this. Only one leopard is even trying to survive and he still can’t even move...

I think I may just suck at this.

How/why does anyone stay in this hobby? When the animals die like this... It’s just breaking my spirit. I’ve literally had an easier time rehabilitating wild injured babies animals, then raising Any baby tortoise past 6 months. I feel like I literally bought them to watch them die.

I think I may just suck at this.

Because I’ve already been through the enclosures, diet and literally everything with a microscope with this forum on a earlier post. Even talked to Tom, and a few of the other great breeders/keepers on here. I tried adjustments and different products that was recommended. We found small issues...

I think I may just suck at this.

I don’t think I can do this anymore, I wake up every morning hoping for improvement with my babies but every day it’s the same. They don’t eat, they barely move and they don’t open their eyes. According to everything on here the enclosures are perfect and their diet is perfect. I still go...

    Baby hatching

I’m not a breeder but from what I’ve read, you need to take all of the hatchlings out of the vermiculite and put them in the incubator with the remaining egg shells, Rinse the shells to remove the vermiculite so that the hatchlings dont ingest the vermiculite. Soak the hatchlings daily and wait...
