Can my tortoise come with me to a new country if I have a license?

Hello! So as a lot of you probably know, I live in South Africa, and I want to move to a different country, I did read a thread saying it is difficult (https://tortoiseforum.org/threads/moving-to-another-country-with-your-tortoise.185947/) and better to just get a new tortoise, but I would like...

    UVB Lighting for baby tortoise

There are so many different opinions online of what UVB to get, it's rather overwhelming... I have a baby padloper tortoise (and a agma atra lizard, think of this as a smaller version of a bearded dragon if you don't know about it), what would be the best UVB to get them? I am now moving off of...

    Finally built that enclosure!

Finally, after weeks of postponing it, we finally built it... The people who cut the glass got some of the measurements a little wrong, but it did not really affect the end result too much... We haven't yet installed the heat lamp and the UVB bulb, my dad will be building another contraption...

Can I force feed my lizard? And when would be best to do so?

I hear you, thank you for your speedy reply That sounds way to scary and way too out of my league, I was hoping it would be similar to snakes, I think 100% you're right, I shall not attempt to force feed him, thank you for notifying me :) How hot do you think I should make it then? 38 degrees...

Can I force feed my lizard? And when would be best to do so?

So, some of you may know that I recently got a new lizard, and that it has been eating really (2-4 dubias a day, 4-6 mealworms) well up until recently, where it just stopped eating, barely eating 1 mealworm a day. We did call multiple vets, all of them are full and one still needs to get back to...

    Agma Atra lizard not eating

I got an Agma Atra (AKA. Bloukop Koggelmander) a few weeks ago, and it was surprisingly easy to get it to eat and calm down, it even started taking the food out of the feeding tongs, but recently it stopped eating, it usually ate about 2 small-medium sized dubia roaches and 4 mealworms/day, but...

What if I bobbed my head back at my bearded dragon?

Now please note that I do not plan on doing this, but I would like to know if they would respond to it, since I find it funny to think about... Now let's say my bearded dragon is bobbing their head to show superiority, what if I started bobbing my head, would they respond to it, or would they...

Update on new unexpected friend "bearded dragon"

Yes, so far it has eaten dubia roaches, mealworms and crickets, but not any salads, I head that they might not eat salads, so I'm going to try and find more info on it

Update on new unexpected friend "bearded dragon"

Hello :D I come with a new update from this post, where asked if a bearded dragon baby and a baby tortoise can live together, (no, they cannot -> conclusion), anyhow, I wanted to give an update on that post and the "beardy"... Can I keep a baby Central Bearded Dragon with my baby tortoise

Thank you :) We are planning on upgrading his enclosure next year, to something the size similar to what we're building for tort, just a bit higher, so he can climb and enjoy As for the substrate info, thank you :) I was about to start searching up what we can provide him with :) Yes, with...

Can I keep a baby Central Bearded Dragon with my baby tortoise

Yes, we plan on cleaning out the entire enclosure this weekend, then replace the substrate, remove all other life from the enclosure so the little guy can thrive, we also got some dubia roaches, which I also prefer highly above crickets Thanks for the advice :)

Noted, won't make that mistake again, I'll be sure to keep all future reptiles in their own enclosure (hopefully we won't get any more surprises)

Can I keep a baby Central Bearded Dragon with my baby tortoise

Yes, it barely fits the minimum requirements, the plan was to upgrade next year to something bigger, but with the new pet it was moved to Saturday, then the beardy will get the small enclosure until we can afford to build another big enclosure Here are pics of the enclosure, we plan on turning...

Can I keep a baby Central Bearded Dragon with my baby tortoise

Yes, I moved my tort out asap, until Saturday where he'll get a new, bigger, better enclosure, I did make sure that the tort didn't get hurt, and seems fine, tort is still social, so I don't think anything bad happened, thankfully Tort did also not attack the beardy, so everyone seems to come...
