Thanks, it's a hatchling. I've been following the thread you shared and another on hatchling care. This is my first tortoise and reptile, so it's all new to me. I did my thorough readings on this forum before getting the hatchling.

There's no other spots, the shell does seem kinda sharp right above the neck where the bubble is.

What is the best way to measure enclosure temperatures? I bought an infared temp gun and a digital temp/humidity for inside. Just wondering on preference, not sure if the inside thermometer is necessary if I have a temp gun to check temperatures. Thanks in advance.

What would be some safe plants to put in my enclosure? I was looking at succulents but not sure what would be safe.
