    White around shell and plates

What I saw/see are the lines on the right side of the carapace that look like scrape marks. I'm not having a good eyes day

    Redfoot w enclosure (bay area)

If he were within 100 miles. He'd already have a home.
  4. ZEROPILOT

    White around shell and plates

Since no one else that has looked in so far has a theory, mine is its mostly transfer from cement of some sort of rocks or something else hard. Superficial scuff marks. And to be more exact. It looks like he was attempting to get under something. At any rate, it would not concern me one bit

    How to determine wattage, etc.

It needs to be a 6.5 or the range won't be suitable for your application

CHEAP shopping.......same stuff as Wal/Amz but half the price, or less

I opened the TEMU app. Wasn't thrilled about it and closed the app. A year later, I still get TEMU pop ups, etc.

Yes. Thank you. Everyone here at the forum is here to help. The good news is that you live in Florida. Everything else should be relatively easy.

    Bahia or Caatinga Cherryhead?

As far as the sub species of Cherryhead go, I have very little helpful first hand knowledge. I don't keep Cherryheads. And I know next to nothing about local populations within their ranges. There are other members that know a lot more about them. @Madkins007 @Redstrike Just a few come to mind.

Wanting to adopt a red foot in Florida, but will to take a road trip

Do not place any animal outdoors in the daytime in a glass container because the sunlight will turn it into a microwave Also, at any time. A rain storm can make it into a drowning hazard

Wanting to adopt a red foot in Florida, but will to take a road trip

I think that the spurs are more obvious because his legs are so skinny. But they DO LOOK odd

Wanting to adopt a red foot in Florida, but will to take a road trip

Almost any fresh, uncooked and unprocessed foods you eat, he can eat. Fruit, vegetable matter, mushrooms, meat, hibiscus leaves and flowers. UVB is critical. Sunlight is the best UVB. A few hours a week is enough. But a few hours a day is great. Humidity needs to be over 70%. You can take a hose...

Wanting to adopt a red foot in Florida, but will to take a road trip

This tortoise is kept indoors in an aquarium? What type of heating? What type of UVB source? What are they feeding? This looks like a blatant case of animal cruelty.

Wanting to adopt a red foot in Florida, but will to take a road trip

MBD is a serious bone disease. It can go hand in hand with outward signs of poor husbandry like pyramiding. But pyramiding alone doesn't prove MBD. However, in this case. I definitely wouldn't rule it out. It's the worst looking (Florida) Redfoot I've ever seen. How does he walk? Are his legs...

Wanting to adopt a red foot in Florida, but will to take a road trip

Wow That Redfoot is in absolutely horrible condition. He/she has had far too little humidity and who knows what else. I've never seen a Redfoot in Florida that looked so poorly. The environment outdoors is almost ideal most of the year. Free humidity. Free sunshine and you can even find free...

    Sulcata Eating Tray

Most of what I feed my outdoors Redfoot group are placed on flat cement pads placed throughout the enclosures. They also do a great job on toe nails.
