It's been raining almost non-stop here since Monday night. No violent weather so far. We need the rain as it's been a dry spring & the lake is 6' below normal with high winds & grass fires.
Stay buttoned down. It was easily blowing 40 mph with gusts higher here in OK today. It brought in warmer temperatures this am but we're talking low humidity, brush fires, power outages, but this is typical weather once you get out of winter temps & high winds. No need to put out bird feeders...
Likewise the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. I stayed in the old wing in a part of the hotel not yet remodeled in 1981. I could even hear that damn tricycle creeping up & down the hallway. But seriously, you just saw things moving in your peripheral vision that weren't "there there."...
You don't have one of those yet, do you? That is so cool.
There's this place just outside of Cheyenne, WY called "Terry's Bison Ranch" along i-25 that not only has a big herd of buffalo but a few camels, as well. Sometimes you can see them from the highway.
And I sure miss those tv ads...
My shoes don't aggravate me. Multiple cameras, aiming the cameras, software apps, photos & videos, new eating feeders, up & down ladders, luring the birds back would. But you go girl!!
This is why I have trouble communicating with my hubby or most men. Not being into construction, plumbing, electrical, woodworking, etc., my only reaction when someone says "shoe" is "something a girl cannot have enough pairs of."
I work from home & I'm retired. It's called "housework." Those damn dust bunnies reproduce faster than normal bunnies, especially with cat hair. I luv that Houdini is hairless & furless!
I still don't mind NOT working for the government 40 some yrs later. Our project had good contractors (outside printing, computer typesetting & graphics layout) except when my AA-hired boss would intefere in contractor deadlines & publishing deadlines, but then everything not mailed out to...
I have no idea what color the house pipe is, but the house is about 14 yrs old so my guess is not copper. That would be about the time they started steeling copper tubing out of houses.
I was trying to be respectful of East Coast plumbers, not necessarily the wrecking crews in DC.
Have a...
No you have plenty of cold water. But you have to drip thru the house to tell Dan no hot water & if he's in the shop or out in the front or back yard, that's another 500-1000 steps outside. A spit bath can be faster.
We moved in. It takes 5-10 minutes to get hot water to any tap in the house, including the kitchen which is only 25' away from the heater in the garage. It's a drag standing naked in the shower. So we bought a new flash one & a plumber installed it (not Dan). Still had the same problem. So...
It can take 10 minutes to get hot water at most of our taps so we added a device you can set for times you don't want to wait, i.e., showers in the am. But if you don't use the hot water during those times, the device shuts itself off & you have to go reset it. Seems to work OK if the...
You should be able to buy it at a local pet store but it's probably cheaper online at Petco, Amazon, Chewey, etc. There's a smaller bag around a lb. so you don't have to buy 25 lbs all at once. They have a newer version thar has 3 initials at the end of the name, something like LSR.
