I live in CA and the past few weeks it’s been very stormy which resulted a lot of power outages.
My 6 year old female Sulcata is in an outdoor / heated shed that I built myself and it maintains a constant 80 degrees during the cold days / nights. Unfortunately, I lost power at my house for...
3 1/2 years old and weighs over 2kg. Based from research I believe it’s a female and have not seen any signs of being a male. Any suggestions would be great!
Yeah I will definitely see if they have any! I was able to find a few from known tortoise keepers. Golden Greeks are tough. There are so many subspecies.
I have a collection of Greek tortoises and today have separated the males and females and also built a bigger outdoor enclosure. A few hours later, I found an egg that was not buried and was unfortunately crushed by the time I was able to retrieve it. The enclosure has two areas to lay eggs...
Yeah I may have to go that route until I get lucky and find some. I do have a 2.1 group (female is in separate enclosure) and the female laid a clutch of infertile eggs this year. I am guessing it was her first time laying eggs. I’m hoping next year to have some fertile ones. I recently read...
Okay. Thanks for the info! I have contacted some breeders and even tried talking to venders at expos. I wasn’t too sure if there were any other sites out there. I am looking for adult female Golden greeks and just started my search on adult cherryheads.
Im not too sure if this post would follow in this category but I was curious if there are some other classified sites where people list tortoises for sale? I go on Fuana, Facebook, and kingsnake quite often but are there any other sites like these? I’ve been trying to get my hands on certain...
If any available please send me a message! I have an awesome outdoor enclosure with tons of shade, basking areas, and grass. I’m located in Sacramento area. And also will help with shipping. & I will only buy from known members unless you are able to show genuine evidence.
I’m also interested...
You can also make a ramp from the substrate as well and make a basking spot on top of the hide if the top is flat enough for your tort. I did this for sulcata hatchlings and also my desert tort since they would always flip over from these hides. Here’s a photo of how you can do this.
Looking to buy fully mature female golden greeks for my new outdoor greek enclosure. If you only have one to sell, please still contact me! Willing to pick up within the Northern California area or be shipped. DM me if available. Also I know a scam when I see one ;)
