Hey folks, For the first time ever (4 years - got him as a baby) Leo is humping his clay cave... he mounts it, and pumps away with his mouth ajar, lightly squealing, and his tail motioning toward a "female"!! It's at once comical and sad!!!! Should I offer him some relief? Poor guy!

set your food on a rough rock.. that's what I do.. I watch my guy eat and almost every other bite he's inadvertently biting into the rock and thereby wearing down and potential beak growth... my guy is 4 and no beak at all

Sometimes I can hear a mild wheezing with my guy.. a high-pitched sound almost like a whistle... but it's mild.. and intermittent I am a bit concerned. Should I be? He is otherwise active and has a great appetite.

I don't think I spray my enclosure enough.. twice daily?? Wow... I've gone a week or more w/o spraying...

he does it frequently.. few times per week and only at night.. i give him calcium powder a couple of times per week.. i once put cuttlebone but he ignored it

The stuff they sell around here is a brick of coco husk... you have to soak it. I this what you are referring to?

How about cedar mulch?
