That is great how often do you have to switch it out? Right now I have him in the eco earth coconut fiber that I keep moist. Is that good too as long as I have a water pan that we can go in and out of?
My turtle usually has hard poop but just recently he ate sweet potato and his poop was more on the liquid side. I’m not sure if the seeet potato was the cause of that. Any suggestions?
I’ve gave him scrambled eggs and he doesn’t touch those either. I he doesn’t seem to touch anything I give him besides worms that i put in his water when he soaks and his cuttlebone.
I feed him vegetables and he doesn’t touch them. I even tried to cut them into tiny pieces as well as cut the worms and put them on the veggies. He doesn’t touch the worms either if they aren’t in water. I’m not too sure why he isn’t eating the veggies.
At about what age do Box turtles start eating vegatbles and stray away from the live worms? I have a yearling and he seems to not be wanting to eat the live worms as much but doesn’t like the vegetables. At what age will he start to lean towards the vegetables? Thank you!

Are red wiggler worms toxic to Box turtles? When I cut mine in half they create a yellow ooze and I heard that was toxic but I’m not too sure. If anyone can help me out. Thank you!
