I try and soak it 3x a week in my bathtub (knee arm length for a tortoise) for 30 mins. We feed him garden weeds every 2nd day and we live in scotland and we’re told we would not need a humidifier. We are going to buy a tortoise table as soon as possible.
So my tortoise was born on August of 2016 he is a Macedonian Hermann and I bought him in December of 2017, he was tiny when I bought him and I don’t really think he is much bigger now, he doesn’t seem to drink much water and he eats a wide variety of weeds.

So I weighed my hermann Winston about and hour ago, I put my hand on the scale to press a button because it was on the wrong unit of measurement and he put his head in his shell and lunges towards me, Almost like a headbutt, is this Normal?? (I got the fright of my life)
