I was just curious, after seeing some of the post with Sulcata with some bad pyramid-ing, if it can be corrected or will they have it the rest of their lives. It is not the actual bone that is in the pyramid, it is the scales right?

When you build a wooden enclosure, are you putting anything on the wood to protect it from the humidity? or would it be toxic for the turtles?

I have that problem. I ended up draping a towel over the sides. It also helps keep the humidity in.

Sliders duck into the water, if you put them on the basking platform, they will run. They will go up on there own when they are more comfortable.

We have one that we have found upside down a couple of times, not sure what he was doing, maybe climbing on the misses. We just turn him back over and he goes on his merry way. If you are concerned about how long he has been upside-down you could give him a good soaking.
