This post is truly disturbing for me....I have to 10 mo olds that have not grown HALF of the rate this tort has.... Shells are hard everything looks great happy active lighting habitat perfect per this forum......why would one tort grow so much faster than another????

Ok i love my baby sulcatas but man they can cause some stress. My biggest and healthest eater just started getting this funky looking jaw?? Check him out compared to the other two. And ideas wth ? first two pic of of the problem child last three are the other two i consider more normal shaped??
Thanks and we were definitely aware that if we had two males when they get older we would have to separate the male's... how many months is it again that you can try to sex them??
Awww look at that cutie. That is exactly what my four month old sulcatas are doing. I assumed it was a form of shedding. But i will...like you wait to hear from one of the long time members. I am new as well. :)
So here is a silly question....but i put some rocks down under the uvb heat light....these wont get TOO hot and burn feet right?? Thanks in advance pic example added.
