I have just completed my outdoor enclosure for my Russians. It is 4’x10’ but doesn’t have any shade. I have planted it with several bushy plants. If I dig my hide boxes into the ground a bit and cover with soil and rocks, will it be cool enough for them in the mid day sun? I’m in Tampa Florida.
This is a tortoise that someone is selling online? They are keeping it in a 10 gallon aquarium. Can anyone tell the sex by this pic? I’ll prolly go get it tomorrow but will need help since I know nothing about Russians
