Where did you get your marginated tortoise from?

I had a male and several females that were producing beautiful babies. I sold all my babies to Tortoise Supply and my very active male. Tyler from Tortoise Supply is very knowledgeable and cares for his tortoises well ( which is hard to find). I believe he still has most of the babies.

Adult male attracted to a particular female

Very interesting. Last year he seemed "pleased" with both females, but this year he is more particular. Thanks for the response.

Has anyone else experienced an adult male attracted to a certain female and forgetting the other? My adult male is constantly pursuing one female and ignores the other.

    Brumation

I would like to have my 3 adult marginated tortoises brumate in a fridge this year. We have purchased a full size fridge for this occasion. When should I start soaking them more regularly and stop feeding? Also, what type of substrate should I use and container? Thank you for any assistance.

    Enclosed chambers

Thanks for the info. I have had my adults for quite sometime but did not have the info that is available now when I first started. These are the first hatchlings that I have been blessed with and I wanted to ensure that I was doing the best for them.

    New to the forum-marginated owner

Good evening all. I have been reading advice from this forum for quite awhile as a “lurker”. Great advice located here. I became a proud owner of 8 marginated hatchlings this summer after 2 of my adult females unexpectedly laid eggs. The hatchlings are soaked daily, eat a variety of greens...
