My personal recommendation is to invest in a nanny cam so you will be alerted when ur tort moves around and you can watch and observe from afar. This actually helped me a ton so I didn’t stress my new tort out, and I was able to tell the vet about behavioral changes (which caught an early RI)

My Sulcata is doing the same thing right now and it totally freaked me out! Got my guy a week ago today someone in a sulcata group I am In said that it was a “stress shed”

I am also new to tortoise keeping- is it standard practice to need to deworm a tort? I have horses so we have the vet check for internal parasites every 4-8 weeks ... is this something I will need to also do as my hatchling gets older?
