Hello all,
This morning I noticed that Leroy has pinkish/red coloring on his plastron. He's very active, his appetite is normal and gets plenty of sunshine. His substrate is Coco coir. He does like trying to climb up on his half log & scrapes his plastron in the process... I'm just worried it...
We recently moved & had to give up our beautiful outdoor garden for Leroy :-( Being that it's near the end of summer, I wanted something that I could quickly & easily construct.
So...dummy me bought 2 raised garden beds without even thinking about the potential harmful effects.
My question...
It did look a little better after his soak. Maybe I'll give him extra soaks and see if it goes away or comes back.
Is there a such thing as fungal infections on scales?
Haha :) Leroy is very versatile. Before I posted on the forum I looked online. the reason ranged from fungal infection to a burn to mbd . . . So of course I got super paranoid.
I noticed a brown crusty spot on Leroy's head, but figured it was just dirt. However, after his soak it was still there. Any ideas as to what it may be?
The first pic is him without the brown spot:
Hello everyone :)
I've read many posts on this forum about the quality of Mega-Ray products. I've been looking for a while now and came across these today
Mega-Ray 100 Watt Self-Ballasted Flood UVB Lamp$46.95...
I do the same thing in regards to amazon comments, lol, which is why I was so conflicted for some reason on what one to buy. But the information that you just gave me is very informative and now I know to definitely go with the cheaper one. Thank you
Yes it does, thank you:)

From my understanding the product description section is a generalized description that is used for all the Power-Sun bulbs that amazon offers. I looked at the 160w and Small Animal Supplies 100W mvb and they both have that same description. Hence the confusion...
