Would be nice if u look at what u write before posting... and set ur words in the right order
I see ur from new Orleans so English shouldn't be a problem for u
Ur temperatures are way too cold plus dry start = no or almost no growth
Ur vet has probably no idea what hes talking about
Cheers
Tortoises roam miles a day in the wild but obviously we can't recreate that in our care but u should always give ur tort all the space u can give her.
8x4 is great but even bigger is better
They need to walk to keep there digestive system going
Typical answer..
If ur dog decides to change his mind u won't talk like that any longer
It doesn't matter how much experience u got it doesn't matter what breed u cant take the wolf out of a dog completely
Some people need to learn the hard way I guess
I'm sorry for ur tortoise
Personally I think the only thing that should be on the shell of ur tortoise is water or dirt like in nature
U can put something on his shell if he has fungus or an injury ofc
I had no problems keeping two males together in the same tank.
problems began when I put a female in with my two males they started fighting over her.
Male and female can work but I wouldn't do it the male will harass the female constantly for breeding
In my opinion best to keep alone or same...
I Think peta has become a money making machine
In the early years they did things to actually help animals and spread info about the things that are wrong
Nowadays they spend all there money on themselves
Intresting to note that the founders Ingrid Newkirk and Alex Pacheco have both pretty...
We have many ants in Florida but i have noticed they dont care about tortoises at least bigger ones they are intrested in the food and poop but walk over my big sulcata like hes a stone i don't know however how they would react to a smaller or baby tortoise I guess a little bit more aggressive
I have had about 7 iguanas in the last month on my property all of them were pretty aggressive towards me and my dogs
Its nice that they made it legal to kill them but I'm still going to push them out with my broom
Cant kill these cute monsters
So. many of u wrote that variety is nice so I assume a strawberry and some tomatoes or lettuce isn't going to harm him if fed only like once a week?
But mainly grass and grasses?
