Now i am noticing something on his nose. He didn't have it when I wrote my last update but he dose now. It looks like a white crust near his nose. Could this be URTD? If it is what medications are right to help treat it?
He shows no signs of things on his eyes or nose area. His lighting above his enclosure is one uv bulb and another heat/uv bulb. I just checked the temperatures with a heat gun and they were 96 on the warm side and 75 on the cooler side. He is eating regularly again now.

I have wanted to upgrade Franklin's enclosure for a while now but i do not have the space for it to be bigger. I am asking if I could build him a ramp to climb onto a second area of his enclosure almost like an upstairs. I would definitely put guard rails up. Would this be ok?

I am planting an indoor garden for my Russian tortoise and I have some black seed Simpson lettuce seeds. Are these okay for a Russian tortoise. If so do they have any nutritional value. Any help is appreciated.
Can you keep a male and female Russian tortoise together, If so I was just wondering how large an enclosure would have to be to keep to Russian torts together. I am not getting another tortoise any time soon this is just a question out of curiosity
So I have had my combo uv/heat halid bulb for about 11 months. Should I change it out and buy a new one after every year. Or 2 years. I am not sure at all and I know they are expensive so I do not want to buy one if I do not need one. Any advice would be appreciated.
Wait, you aren't using that calcium powder as substrate. Your tortoise WILL DIE if you use that. What kind of lighting do you have. What are the enclosure dimensions. That calcium powder is meant to sprinkle onto food never as substrate. You need to change what you are doing or your poor...
