That’d be great! many of us have had these beauties for years and STILL come here for our questions. There’s ALWAYS something to learn or improve on! We’re all here for the torts! ❤️
Hello and welcome! Those white areas are just growth areas... I see nothing wrong with the shell. Definitely follow the care sheet and follow all leopard hatchling threads here. :) Enjoy!!!!
Yes- if I were to known I would’ve just applied a 2 x 4 and cut out the insulation around it. That being said however, the hydraulic is heavy duty enough that it seems to be taking the load well. We also used a heavy duty bracket and longer screws. So far so good
Let me ask my husband…he was the engineer behind it. I’ll have to email you the clip of when we used 2, thinking we needed them after the first 2 (lighter load arms) failed. It took a grown man to sit on the lid to close it, then it literally flung him off when he went to Scooby off! Lol

Darn! Good scientific effort though! We got a surprise clutch laid yesterday and I’m sure I’ve already messed them up. I couldn’t find the thread of yours Jeanette recommended.
Hi All!
it’s been awhile but I wanted to post some photos of the incredible enclosure our beautiful babies get to call home. @Markw84 designs and builds these perfect enclosures, including smart thermostats, fixtures and hardware. The enclosure is heavy, as a whole, but extremely easy to...
@Markw84 @Tom @Gijoux Here is Little Nugget… We fought hard to get this tiny warrior over 100g. She’s battling and at 109g tonight. It’s a relief knowing her temps and humidity hold perfect and steady in here.
@Gijoux- Here are your big babies! They pretty much stick together all over the enclosure and snuggle at night. They’re SO healthy and gorgeous! Thank you!
