    Odd plastron pattern

Hello, I was giving my tortoise a soak today and some washed up food stuck in her claws made me worry and check her plastron thoroughly. Not sure if it is supposed to look like this but reading posts on shell rot and blood poisoning have me worried. Any help would be massively appreciated.

    Weird shell?

The water in my area comes from a chalky reserve so the water has lots of minerals in it which tend to leave behind deposits on things like kettles

    Weird shell?

Hey guys, there’s some odd patterns on my tortoises shell, I’m a bit worried about it. For a bit of background I wash it in hard water everyday so I think that may contribute to some of the markings but I worry about shell rot. Any ideas?

    Weird plastron?

Hi guys, was giving my young Russian tortoise a bath today and noticed a bit of muck on his plastron, I gently washed it off and noticed he has two little dents on each side and it doesn’t look right to me. Any suggestions of what it might be?

Thank you very much. I’m a new owner so don’t really know what to expect but I guess I made myself paranoid it had parasites or a respiratory infection

Hey guys I’m new here. I recently got a Russian tortoise and it seems pretty active, has an appetite and looks fairly healthy however whenever I give it a bath it poops very strangely. It’s making me quite worried, any tips? Do I need to take it to the vet?? many thanks, Jack
